The National Federation of the Blind India has been for the last four
decades working towards empowerment ,imparting legal protection etc. to all
the person with disabilities in general and visually impaired people in
specific. We would like to share with all our brothers and sisters a really
good news in the interest of all the person with disabilities. The entire
news is as under:-
The parliamentary standing committee of Ministry of social Justice and
Empowerment has tabled its report on RPD Bill 2014 on 7th of May 2015, both
in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The committee has by enlarge accepted most of
the suggestions submitted on behalf of All India Disability Alliance
through its coordinator respected Sh. S.K Rungta. A comparative chart
showing the status of our suggestions in the committee report notified very
soon.
