ROMY,
Thanks for the quick reply I really appriciate it ! First of all i
just wanted to say i am vey new to access and i am learning as i work
on it. I wanted to tell you few things about this database as i
beleive i wasnt really clear on things from the start. This database
is a very simple membership database and since i didnt know access
very well i just took a adddress book template from microsoft website
and now i am trying to modify it for my purpose. I am actually doing
a favor for this organaization who has been helping folks in need.
Recently we have lots of folks come from louisiana and they are
becoming members of our organization and i had to work on a new
database to add them. the previous database is written in php with
apache server running it due to a virus in the pc its ready to crash
any day now since i am not familiar with php i have no choice but to
format the pc which will erase the database as well even if i backup
the hard drive i wont know how to put it back on the pc again. This
is what i have done after reading your reply. I have created a table-
make query and after running it has created a new table(table2 which
has only one field for now MembershipDate)and moved all of the
membershipdates into that table instead i was hoping it will move
anydate except current date 2005. I also added the criteria in table-
make query <Now()+365 but it didnt work for some reason. I was
wondering if you can download my database and take a look at it so i
can help them finish it, it is for a very good cause and i have
voluntered myself to help build them.
Thanks alot
here is the link for the database
