what is the architecture of the system? that is, are they are the same
office LAN, sharing the same copy of a single MDB file? If so, split the
file into the traditional 2 parts. One part with only tables, and the other
part with everything else.

Put the tables MDB on the LAN and put the everything else MDB on local C:
drives. Then they can share the data even though one is 2000 and the other
2003.
