if you send your password via your internet provider to a second
e-mailprovider it is possible to spy your password via internet.
if you use only your e-mail account of your provider it is possible to,
but not on the easy way, because you are using a direct connection to
your provider.

Dear Babak,
Hi. I didn't actually understand what you asked.
As far as I understood from your question, it is
impossible.

Subject: Intro & thanks
Hi all,
My name's Melanie Halmarack and I'm a Biology teacher at a Girls school in
Scotland.
I use the Internet a lot for research. The most useful starting point for most
of my projects is Usenet. It was when my news group activities started to take
up so much of my time, that I began seeking an alternative method for locating
and retrieving Usenet material.
Usenet (particularly Deja-News) by mail, seems like a great way of finding
information and I'm very grateful to Gerald Boyd for producing his excellent
documents on the subject. I do struggle with some aspects of the methods though.
I wish the subject was discussed more in the Accmail forum.
If the interests of Accmail subscribers are generally wider and more varied than
mine, and they would be irritated by a lot of novice questions on Usenet access,
I would be happy to enter into off-list discussions with anyone else who's keen
on Usenet access by mail.
TIA
Melanie

Subject: NEWS: Fax by email
Accmailers,
More information about Fax by email methods.
I previously wrote this:
eFax (get faxes via email)
http://www.efax.com/
(Need to signup and get unique eFax number and download a viewer)
(Sender may need to dial a toll call)
I set up an account at this one.
My personal eFax number is (561) 382-0115
This sends the Fax to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Fax4Free.com (USA only)
http://www.fax4free.com/
(Need to signup and get password)
FaxWave (get faxes via email)
http://www.callwave.com/
(Need to signup and get unique Fax number, all in N. California)
(Sender may need to dial a toll call)
And the Accmail FAQ has this to say:
* SENDING A FAX BY EMAIL
The TPC.INT "Remote Printing Experiment" is the grandfather of Internet
faxing services. Send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with no subject and
"help" in the body. For a list of country phone numbers served by this
service, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with no subject and nothing
in the body.
You can also get the FAX FAQ via electronic mail. Send email to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and enter only this line in the BODY of the
note:
send usenet/news.answers/internet-services/fax-faq
Well an astute user, Artemiy Pushkarev, Moscow, Russia wrote to tell me
that he "used agora-servers and getweb-servers to get a copy of Efax's
service information and a registration form" and then used the TPC
service "...sent it from my e-mail to TPC.INT and about 1,5 hour I've
got it in my Inbox!"
So, even though eFax telephone numbers are located in the US, by using
a combination of eFax and TPC you can use this service from anywhere in
the world.
Here are the web pages you will need to retrieve.
eFax signup form
http://www.efax.com/signup/index.html
eFax more info
http://www.efax.com/info/index.html
I'm always surprised at the determination of some indviduals on this
list because somebody somewhere out there will find a method to do it
all by email. I never even thought of this idea -- combining two
services -- just amazing !!!

For news://news.demon.co.uk/ I get server responded: no access
The only valid list of free NNTP servers, is Doc's List -- he updates
it weekly
http://home1.gte.net/docthomp/servers.htm
However, most of these only contain only 4 or 5 groups...
alt.2600.warez
alt.binaries.pictures.erotica
rec.food.cooking
news.admin.net-abuse.usenet
misc.test
alt.free.newsservers
Another good list updated last on 23Jun99
Rob's News Service
http://www.freenntp.com/complete.htm
The free ones listed here contain 10,000 - 20,000 newsgroups.

First off, I think you have a date problem with your computer. Your
message is dated as of 1/7/97...
Secondly, change the subject from digest to whatever is the appropratie
posting. In this manner, all postings of a similar nature (thread) will
be found in the archives easily.
