I have been told about two more free web space providers with an email upload facility. I have checked that the URLs exist, and that you can get to the signup page without accepting cookies. Here they are ... 1. FreeWeb (Spanish) http://freeweb.com.mx/formareg2.html 2. Most mail systems will queue outgoing mail if DNS lookup fails or the destination is unreachable, for a site dependant amount of time. (2 to 5 days, most commonly) You reported getting a bounce message from one of those timing out in 3 days. Look at the date at the end of each "Received:" header. If the message was stuck some place, that will show where. If the outgoing message was stalled, then the incoming will not show it, in this case. > >>As for an ISP loosing "some" mail, us juno.com users know about size >>limits placed by some ISP's, sometimes reduced without warning. >Large >>digests and web pages can be a problem for us. > >I'm aware of that, but my mailbox has 2Mb and it's hardly ever full, >since >I check my mail several times a day. > >thanks for your help > >Massimo We fight 2 limits: 1 MB box; 60K + headers or 64K total per message. -- | [EMAIL PROTECTED] Jerel. --- ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 18 Jul 1999 10:08:50 -0700 From: "Gerald E. Slight problem here. Award merged with Phoenix Technologies but has this to say about BIOS upgrades on their web site: "The original manufacturer is the best source of upgrades and assistance. Please contact your system or motherboard manufacturer to determine if BIOS upgrades are available." Now to make matters worse, the BIOS upgrades are not done by Award or Phoenix but by Unicore. The Unicore site uses a form (via frmes) to send information about a particular BIOS upgrade. See http://www.unicore.com/ Withou a browser I don't think you can get the form, The www4mail servers might retrieve it.
