I would suggest as did G. Boyd that you check out his SERVERS file, it will be more up to date. I took the original file and modified it as I found servers that didn't work. I am not a big anon remailer so I didn't do a complete job. >Maybe William C Andrews or someone knowledgeable about these >things would be kind enough to check this out and help in modifying >the service file. Interbot service files are very easy to edit. If you edit it and add more active anon remailers that work the same send me a copy and I can add it to the zip file. Any one else who has service files that they would like to share send them too, just you the export command. >Also, is <<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> a separate anon. >remailer? As Jerel pointed out the [EMAIL PROTECTED] address is a way of suppressing the Juno 'tag' or 'nag' line. Juno adds the ad at the bottom of emails. This causes trouble with many of the various accmail servers. So the folks of the JunoACCMail list have created an address that has one of the words, 'request', that causes Juno not to add the tagline. The mailbox at that add just deletes all mail that it receives. I included the add to many of the service files so that they would not have problems with the tagline. If you are trying to send mail anonymously you wouldn't want the receiver to know that you are sending it from Juno, thus I added it to the service file. -- William Andrews [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Runway/3091/ PS I wasn't ignoring the original message. I have been off on vacation for 2 weeks and have been catching up on 10 different mailing lists I am on. that is 14 ACCMail digests, 14 Help-Net, ~10 JunoACCMail, 350+ individual messages from another,...etc. Moral: Be patient. The two use different subsets of ASCII. XX-encoding (rarely seen on the net) uses an almost identical subset as "base64", with two characters different, but the order is much different. XX was created to solve problems with some gateways that treated some UU characters in special ways. -- | [EMAIL PROTECTED] Jerel. --- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 4 Aug 1999 09:21:59 +0400 From: "Alex A.
