I was able to check my mail with Lynx at http://mail.surfree.com,
but couldn't figure out how to start an account at
http://www.surfree.com.
It occurs to me the real problem is not technical, but their
desire to make the signup pages as flashy as possible to attract
customers, hence a lot of technically complex stuff there.

Subject: FoxMail Help files?

Hi Accmailers :-)

After reading the recent thread Re: FoxMail (Internet Mail Client) , I decided to give
it a try..

It's a nice, intuitive, compact & efficient proggie..(and FAST!!) I downloaded Beta
version 3.0.0.0
(fm30b1.zip) about 10 minutes ago and I'm already sending/receiving message with it..
In fact, I
used it to mail *this* message... :-)

Runs ok!

If you dislike fatware and bloatware, this one's for you...and it's free.

Has anyone translated the HELP text and the readme.txt files??

thank you.

H.Barcena

Subject: what is chm extension?

Hello accmailers,

I got a zip file, when I decompressed it turned to be a compiled html file. How
can I view this kind of file? The browser simple fails to open it. The text
editor does fail to open the chm file too. If somebody could give me any hint
I'll be grateful.

Thanks.

Azuaje.

These are for Windows 98 help files. You can't open them directly as
they are part of an application that supplies the help.

For more information and a toolkit for making them, see:

Mr. Boyd

Is the server [EMAIL PROTECTED] defunct? I send it
requests but they are not receiving it. I get my message
back as undeliverable.

It is listed in your August 25, 1999 servers.html as active.

Thanks.
Victor

Netters,

Cross-Posted to Accmail, Help-Net and NetTrain

The Hypertext FAQ archive at Ohio State is no more. I just received
this note on the FAQ maintainers mailing list.
See http://www.cis.ohio-state.edu/hypertext/faq/usenet/FAQ-List.html

but I have any answer yet .

If you, and some people more, make a such request for english files, may be he take
it in account.
