Dear Jesus:
The best way to receive a copy of Doctor Bob Rankin's guide is to send
an e-mail message in the following format:
TO: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
SUBJECT:[This can be left blank]
BODY: send usenet/news.answers/internet-services/access-via-email
If, however, there are difficulties between the e-mail program at MIT and
your server, the format is:
TO: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
SUBJECT: [This can be left blank]
BODY: setdir usenet/news.answers
send internet-services/access-via-email
quit
One of the methods shown above will obtain the guide for you.
The best of luck to you in your study of Dr. Rankin's guide.
Sincerely,

You won't find it as this anymore as I took it over in Jan 99. It's not
longer called this...

That is a MIME file
you need a MIME/UUD Decoder or
Winzip that will decode MIME and Zip files.
You can get Winzip at www.winzip.com

Subject: multiple selection
When downloading a file separated in parts it takes a lot af time to save it
in a directory. I first select one part, save as,.. and so with every part.
If we talk about a 100 part file, you can imagine what happens. Then I use
UUdeview to get the whole file. Is there any way to save all the parts with
a few steps?
I use W98 and outlook express.
