I think no one. The software behind [EMAIL PROTECTED] does not allow for
spaces into the "path" part so it cannot read anything of the "GET /something"
http stuff.

As-Far-As-I-Know the latest version is 1.02, which you probable have.
Not having tried using those mail clients you may try using Interbot's
_GENERAL.* files. If you have Interbot installed, check out the
_GENERAL.txt file, it has the instructions. Just be sure that where
you read Mollusc, think Interbot instead.

Maybe somebody with programming experience and time may write the
needed .EXE file. If somebody does zip and encode a copy to me and
I will post it on my site.

Crossposted to HELP-NET mailing list too...
Dears,
Receiving no email from news_groups that I had subscribed (email delivery
of) them in Deja server, I sent a message to its administrators to solve the
problem. Here is my email and their reply. I hope to be useful for the list.

Subject: Downloadslave zip files.
Hi Mr. Boyd and all ACCMailers,
I have problems unzipping files received through Downloadslave. When I try
to unzip them I receive error messages like " start of central directory not
found: Zip file corrupt. Possible cause: file transfer error.
Is anyone else having the same problems ?
If anyone is receiving Downloadslave zip files without any problem, please
let me know e-mailing me directly so I can try to solve the problem on my
part.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Sasha!
That's the kind of talking we wanted to here from you :)
Do you remember the efforts Gerald E. Boyd made some not so long time ago in
order to convince the owners of [EMAIL PROTECTED] to maintain their free
service? Look here how a reasonable comercial company has responded to
accmail demands:

May I make a little sugestion?
Why don't you and the other accmailers from the former USSR countries try to
convince the comercial companies in Russia, Ukraine, etc to give up on their
current policy of providing only pay e-mail services and switch to
providing advertising financed free e-mail services?
best regards and good luck,

It appears as though gopher at sunsite.doc.ic.ac.uk is also defunct.
This means that the only gophermail search you can use for Usenet is the
gopher at services.canberra.edu.au
The section in my howto2.html document that begins:
"For Imperial College you can also use the following for FAQs and
periodic postings from all the Usenet Newsgroups"
will probably be removed.
You might as well add [EMAIL PROTECTED] to the defunct category
also. This site has been yielding a "not available" message since 04Jun99.

Nope. I just tried a sample at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and it worked
within 1 minute.
