Hello,

Just to tell you that Binky now supports search engines by email (and not
only Google as before).

Altavista, Yahoo and savvysearch worked OK. free.dorm.org failed to me.

Accmailers
[EMAIL PROTECTED] was very good place to retrieve newsgroup
postings. I am not sure this is working still. If it is not working can
anyone tell other source where we can retrieve newsgroup postings via
email.

There is one ADSL mini HOWTO (/usr/doc/HOWTO/mini) written by David Fannin for
Linux. I am not aware whether the DSL offering from Earthlink can be set up for
Linux (There are some issues related to the availability of the drivers for ADSL
Network Termination or ANT and NIC) . But the HOWTO is worth reading (The howto
is also available from http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP ).

Try using a text editor, you can Wordpad or Write if your specify
no conversion and look at the begining of your file. It should
start with the letters "PK". If you don't see PK at the
begining, it is not a Zip file. If you do see it then you do
have problems with the file itself.

Well,
I checked the problem has been fixed now!
Yahoo combines cookies and redirection. www4mail was not saving cookies
before performing the redirection.
Now, It saves the cookies before the redirection.

I think it works okay now!
Thanks for your patience!

Subject: problem with unzipping accmail.gb

Hi! all accmailers,
I requested accmail.gb Chinese GB translation of ACCMAIL 8th Ed.a couple
of days ago and received accmail.zip as an attachment. Then I unzip it with
Winzip and got a file "accmail.gb".
The problem is I can't open it. I tried many times and finally made it by
chance. It all happened when I rename the file "accmail.gb" to"accmail.doc"
in MS-dos mode. In this way I got a readable word file. Maybe some of you
have encountered similar problem. If so, you may solve this problem in the
way I mentioned above.
With best regards
Jing Song
