Interbot uses files with the .INF extention to supply information about your e-mail program. There are several files that are _GENERAL.*, read the _GENERAL.TXT and it will give you instructions how to modify and use the _GENERAL.INF file. You will be able to modify it and give it a name such as _NSCP461.INF or _MSIE50.INF . Since I don't run IE 5.0 or Netscape 4.61 I can't make a modification and test it. It isn't hard to do. If anyone out there has made the modifications and uses it regularly, I would be pleased to receive a copy to include in my Interbot service files library. Please e-mail me directly OFF-LIST first, if you wish to send it to me, For more complete drivers there are *.EXE files that offer more features. If somebody out there wants to make a new .EXE as a project it may be of benefit to others. -- William Andrews [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Runway/3091/ Reduce-Reuse-Recycle Shun including the entire text in replies. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Oct 1999 18:29:00 +0100 From: Steve Harris <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: about interbot > Interbot uses files with the .INF extention to supply > information about your e-mail program. The GENERAL.* files offer very little automation. The INF files just supply text information about what email programs the particular MFD supports. There is also an EXE file that does the real work. A development package is available at: ftp://ftp.compulink.co.uk/pub/net-services/mfdsdk.exe or http://www.compulink.co.uk/~net-services/pgp/mfdsdk.exe Steve Harris - Net Services Fast modem but slow downloads?
