I've heard a lot of people express a preference for git over svn. What do people think about the prospect of using git (presumably on github) rather than Apache's svn servers for Accumulo? Would this be compatible with the other Apache infrastructure we would like to use (jira, confluence, etc.)? Has any other Apache project gone this route?
