That's not the point; but git has a completely different branching/tagging
model than svn. The "problem" is that tags are not folders (as in SVN) but
a special concept you apply to a commit directly. Which also means that you
tag the entire repository. And this is simply not true (logically at least)
for a multi-module project with different versions per module.
