Nobody has started working on this AFAIK. You're welcome to have a go, particularly given the design we came up with was pretty detailed from memory. Just don't forget the unit tests. :-)
I'd also recommend at the same time a schema improvement to use synthetic identifiers between the roles and username, plus perhaps some other schema improvements as discussed by Andres March and myself a few weeks ago re ACLs.
