Thanks for the response guys. I checked the forum there and saw people mentioning this error, but found no solution from their messages.
The version I am using is the one that comes with spring 0.83. Can you try it there and see if it works?? And, by the way, how tomcat 5.5 find the tags if not by the tld configuration in the web.xml??
