Well, thank you Andrew. Yes, Alsa fixed the problem. (Btw, can be access by using Synaptic Package Manager I think) I got everything working now. Altough Wireless is still buggy.
Seems the connexion will drop every now and then. After lurking forums and such, no one seems to have found a proper way to fix it short of re-booting. Which is a WinDoze solution to me, but I'm not (yet) a guru, so I'm waiting to know more or someone else does. For some people switching on/of ath5k seems to work: didnt for me. No, my touch Pad is working (almost)fine. No jumping around. But when I turn it off with the off-button (top-left of pad), it does turn off, but it doesnt turn back On. Not that much of a problem, but havent had time to look into it yet. You on 4810 or 3810 Andrew?
