interesting bug, it seems to be the same with the CD-Rom. Will Mount at start-up and resume, but it (used to) not work auto.
Tell me: Do you have any problems burning a CD? I can't seem to make it work as a burner, only reader. Any clue? Sorry about the mousepad, I really don't know what to say: mine worked fine since day1. Let me look around and I'll let you know. Cheers.
