Hi everyone, I apologize, but I have say that suspend/resume does *NOT* work at all. I'm getting the same bug as everybody else (computer shuts off upon trying to resume).
It did work once, but it does not anymore. ________________________________ From: Hugo Cibrao <[email protected]> To: JimboJones <[email protected]>; [email protected] Sent: Thu, November 26, 2009 11:59:33 AM Subject: Re: [Acertimeline] Compile a Kernel Hi Jim, I just installed Fedora Core 12 which uses Kernel 2.6.31 Amazingly enough, everything works fine right out of the box, webcam included. I am really surprised, I'll give you that. I'm even more surprised that flash video works better in Linux then it does in Windows (I have a 3810TZ). Suspending and resuming works flawlessly. I really don't know what to say. I have not run into any problems so far. It is as if I just woke up in a beautiful Linux dream :-) I don't know if I can get a better performance with a compiled Kernel, but I will find out and post any results. ________________________________ From: JimboJones <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thu, November 26, 2009 11:37:17 AM Subject: Re: [Acertimeline] Compile a Kernel Hugo, I guess the only thing I would add to this is that you might want to work with >= 2.6.31. I think I remember Ubuntu 9.04 (2.6.29?) working very well also.. If you do compile, would you mind posting your results? Or a .config if you do find a nice one?
