you should try as newer kernel as possible because
1. the problem probably has been fixed in the latest upstream kernel
2. this bugzilla is for vanilla kernel, so we only focus on issues that can be
reproduced in latest vanilla kernel, rather than distro kernel.

So please confirm  if the problem can be reproduced in 4.18-rc kernel.
