[EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|ASSIGNED |NEEDINFO Info Provider| |[EMAIL PROTECTED] ------- Comment #2 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-03-30 12:23 MST ------- The Intel* match was intentional because we don't know what OEMs do to your BIOS. The reason I used dmi is that it is tricky to parse MADT that early (would need some reorganization on i386 which I don't want to do now) I guess it doesn't matter because the year check will find it anyways. I don't know how to fix the bad dates. At some grade of BIOS breakage users will have to specify boot options no way around that. the bad nolapic<->IOAPIC interaction has been fixed already. Can you retry with a KOTD? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
