Hi Kako,
Did you get chance to try the kernel suggested in #7?
As additional information, it would be helpful to have a trace from the failed
boot which you can get with a serial console. This way we can see if any of the
interrupts got set up incorrectly, etc. even better if you add "debug" boot
parameter.
If it doesn't work for you I can recommend at this point do the bisect search
for the patch that caused the problem from 2.6.20 to 21.
