I added the bogus IRQ count in parenthesis at the end of each line. It's also possible that this is an unrelated problem. That is, I can see how a network driver using NAPI could cause occasional (or even frequent) short interrupts, and older kernels such as your 2.6.18 don't even try to ignore them, so you get a timebomb waiting to happen. Just a possibility though, worth investigating.
