Hi, Mihail,
Let's repeat the current symptom of your laptop:
1. proc I/F for brightness control works for you.
2. When pressing hotkeys, brightness level changes as expected.
3. sys I/F doesn't work.
Right?
Please revert the patch in comment#32 and apply the patch in comment#11
bug#9277.
For issue 3, please make sure the value you set must be one of those gotton
from /proc/acpi/video/GFX0/DD02/brightness.
