------- Comment #11 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-06-13 14:43 ------- > APIC error on CPU1: 40(40) This is an intermitant hardware error -- APIC Received illegal vector /* Here is what the APIC error bits mean: 0: Send CS error 1: Receive CS error 2: Send accept error 3: Receive accept error 4: Reserved 5: Send illegal vector 6: Received illegal vector 7: Illegal register address */ These should go away if you boot with "noapic". It would be interesting to know if that also makes the hangs go away. I don't know if the hda_intel message is related to the hang issue -- it would be good to prove that it is not -- eg. reproduce the hang when hda_intel is not loaded. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
