Hi, 

First, thank you all for your suggestions.
I found out that it was an issue with the madwifi driver on amd64 on 2.6.26
kernels. 
When I blacklisted the module, my laptop didn't freeze anymore.
Still it may be related to madwifi+ACPI but it will take some more time to
investigate.
I must first set up and test madwifi with a 2.6.24 or a 2.6.25 kernel.
