(In reply to comment #13) > Will you please confirm whether the AC event can be reported on the kernel > of 2.6.27-rc4? I applied the patch from comment #12 to a clear 2.6.27-rc4. I booted with parameters "acpi.debug_layer=0x00090004 acpi.debug_level=0x01f". I stopped acpid. After this while "cat /proc/acpi/event" was running, I did the following steps: 1. I pressed the LID switch several times: event NOT reported 2. I pressed the POWER button several times: the event IS reported 3. I unplugged and plugged the AC cable: the event NOT reported -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
