------- Comment #40 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-11-01 10:43 ------- Help please!!! I am back online now and decided to try the new bios update. This was apparently successful. However, it reset all my bios settings. I have restored them to what I believe to be the correct state, but now it gets through all the diagnostics and when it attempts to boot it says: Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key. I have made sure that the boot disk is selected as the primary boot device rather than the CD rom (or floppy which I don't have) but it still says it. I thought, no problem, I'll simply reinstall version 0803 of the bios... but now I have the same problem with that. This is (was) a live server. Any help greatly appreciated. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
