------- Comment #41 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-11-01 11:12 ------- Panic over. It was attempting to boot from disk... just not the right one. I have now tried Bios version 1001. This does not solve the problem. Also tried with maxcpus=3. I have also performed all updates offered by aptitude, including updating to kernel version 2.6.24-21-server. Next step is to try a 'mainline linux kernel'. Not sure what I am doing here, since I have never tried it before. About to do some research. Once again, any help gratefully received. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
