So I revert your last patch
(dont_do_transaction_from_gpe_handler_in_poll_mode.patch) and I reapply the 1st
patch from this bug report and this error doesn't occur. This one seems really
to solve the problem, unless the error I mentionned in the previous comment is
benign.

As you asked in comment #31, I also post the output of cat /proc/interrupts
