I'd swear that i actually saw it working once (and only once)  i remember
seeing the battery monitor in kde change state as i un/plugged the ac.  I
remember thinking 'oh, a kernel update must have fixed it' but when i rebooted
it didnt work.  So, i dont know.  How does /proc/acpi/ac_adapter.../state get
the correct state?

Is there anything i could do in windows maybe to help...surely it works there.
