because an ACPI method (_PSR) is always reflecting the actual ac status.
when you read it, ACPI ac driver invokes this ACPI method, and get the correct
AC status.
But un/plugging AC adapter is another story, when you un/plug the AC adapter,
OS doesn't receive a notification, which is usually an ACPI interrupt. So the
HAL doesn't know this change, and it won't invoke the _PSR to get the new AC
status.
