I believe this is an x86 problem rather than an ACPI one, so I reassigned it.

It's unclear (to me) whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit CPU.

I assume that if you set CONFIG_PHYS_ADDR_T_64BIT=y in .config, the
problem goes away?
