--- Comment #23 from Frans Pop <elen...@planet.nl> 2009-07-21 17:20:05 --- Created an attachment (id=22431) --> (http://bugzilla.kernel.org/attachment.cgi?id=22431) Oops, kernel log, /proc/{modules,kallsyms} for Hp 2510p Here's the data for my system (HP 2510p). Included are the oopses (from netconsole), the kernel log for that boot, and the contents of the requested /proc/ files (from a previous boot of the same kernel, but I hope that does not matter). I had to log the oops using netconsole as the system hangs solid (no SysRq) after opening the lid and the kern.log is either not updated at all or contains only partial info. Note my comment in the oopses: they look to be divided over "when the lid is closed" and "when the lid is opened again". The system is at least partially alive for a bit after reopening the lid. I did make one weird discovery: closing the lid produces no errors if wireless is not in use. Because I had to use netconsole, I initially did ifup eth0 ifdown wlan0 and then <close lid> <open lid> two times and the system was fine. The oopses in the attachment were obtained with both wlan0 and eth0 up (as my wlan0 could not be used for netconsole: no polling).
