In that case, what happens usually is that the fan blows really hard during BIOS and GRUB phases, then stops when the kernel gets loaded. Why does is show 5 fans? Does my laptop really have 5 fans? or are those virtual fans, i.e. a way of controlling the speed? And the weirdest of all, is that the fan control works perfectly after suspending to RAM.
