uncon <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #3 from uncon <[email protected]> 2012-08-06 19:21:07 --- I also experience this behavior on Arch Linux (kernel 3.4.7-1-ARCH) on my Samsung NP530U4BI (firmware version 08XK) which seems to use the same firmware. I was able to get the lid working using acpi_os_name="Windows 2012". After booting with this parameter, I was able to suspend via the lid switch several times successfully. However, this stopped working after about 2 or 3 suspends (the next day). It also seems that other ACPI events (AC adapter) are effected / not working all of the time. Prior to setting the acpi_os_name, it seemed that the AC status (never the lid switch) would work for a time if I booting into Windows (7 x64) then rebooted into Linux. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching the assignee of the bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
