--- Comment #95 from Sebastian Riemer <sebastian.rie...@profitbricks.com> --- j0lly, I haven't found any Samsung BIOS developer on LinkedIn. I guess what it really takes is a professional reverse engineer for Windows and computer hardware stuff. If I read in platform drivers things like "unknown magic constant", then it is clear that it has been done via reverse engineering (RE). RE always takes a lot of time and requires very advanced skills. Windows EULA forbids RE. So you need somebody who doesn't mind fighting the dark side with dark force. These people are really rare, busy, hard to trust and difficult to find. Sell the laptop to somebody like that, if you want to get the job done. ;-) Don't expect these guys to send such patches themselves. They want to remain anonymous. I've got a similar legal issue with Wine and advanced game trainer development on Linux. I may only cheat and reverse engineer FOSS games. So I'm having more an education project than a tool I can promote. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching the assignee of the bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ See everything from the browser to the database with AppDynamics Get end-to-end visibility with application monitoring from AppDynamics Isolate bottlenecks and diagnose root cause in seconds.
