I started having this on my SAMSUNG NP530U3c-A05EE machine this September (or
at least I did not notice it before, although I had been using it with Quantal
since June). Decided to upgrade to Saucy, however this did not fix the issue
for me. No ACPI event is triggered after connecting/disconnecting the AC cable
and/or closing the laptop lid.
Booted into Windows to see if there is a BIOS update avaible, as suggested by
someone here, alas nothing has been provided by SAMSUNG so far. (And I do not
believe it will be.)
