            Bug ID: 85881
Summary: gpe66 interrupt keeps cpu continuously active
           Product: ACPI
           Version: 2.5
    Kernel Version: 3.17.0
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux
              Tree: Mainline
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P1
         Component: Config-Interrupts
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
        Regression: No

I'm using a macbook pro late 2013, and after upgrading to OSX Yosemite Beta 4 I
got an important battery life reduction with Linux: my cpu is always at 50-80%
of utilization (and top says that is kworker that keeps it active).

I suspect this is due to a firmware update.
After a little investigation I found that the problem could be the gpe66
interrupt.

This is after about 10 seconds from boot:
# cat /sys/firmware/acpi/interrupts/gpe66
22414625 enabled

and the temporal solution (which seems to solve the problem) is to disable it
with:
# echo disable > /sys/firmware/acpi/interrupts/gpe66

is this a kernel bug or just a firmware problem?
