            Bug ID: 211313
Summary: Fans blowing at max after standby - Thinkpad
           Product: ACPI
           Version: 2.5
    Kernel Version: 5.10.7
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux
              Tree: Mainline
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P1
         Component: Power-Thermal
          Assignee: acpi_power-ther...@kernel-bugs.osdl.org
          Reporter: san...@somp.nl
        Regression: No

Device: Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon, 4th gen.

After resuming the laptop from standby, around 1/3 (33%) of the time the fans
start running at max and don't auto correct. I need to put the system in
standby for the problem to reset (sometimes I need multiple tries).
acpitz-acpi-0 gets stuck at 48 degrees C after resuming and fan keeps blowing
as a result. I'm running kernel 5.10.7 (Manjaro).

This bug seems to be a duplicate of bug #191181, which seems to have been fixed
for many Thinkpad hardware configs, but apparently not for mine. Another user
there also reports the problem still persists on a Thinkpad T470s, hopefully
they can drop their experience in this bug report as well.
