--- Comment #26 from Diogo Ivo (diogo....@tecnico.ulisboa.pt) --- Not really, UCSI is used to communicate the state of the USB-C port to the OS and also allows for the user to set the state manually, so nothing critical. What happens is that when something is plugged to the USB-C port the EC starts spamming notifications for some reason, and I am still trying to understand why.
