One question inbetween... Shall I put GCONFIG onto netlabs cvs server? Like I already said it's capable of doing PnP and PCI detection. Also a tiny tiny tiny bit of MCA detection code is included.
I think it would be best to adjust to that design. GCONFIG uses a detection and a configuration area. The detection area contains the detected devices and the configuration area gets written by a daemon that e.g. configures hardware. I don't know if something like system devices exist under ACPI, but if that's the case, one could implement it that way. It's also featuring a resource-list (generalized), so it could come in handy. cu, Kiewitz ----------- To unsubscribe yourself from this list, send the following message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] unsubscribe acpi-os2 end
