Shall I put GCONFIG onto netlabs cvs server?
Like I already said it's capable of doing PnP and PCI detection. Also a tiny tiny tiny
bit of MCA detection code
is included.
I think it would be best to adjust to that design. GCONFIG uses a detection and a
configuration area. The
detection area contains the detected devices and the configuration area gets written
by a daemon that e.g.
configures hardware. I don't know if something like system devices exist under ACPI,
but if that's the case,
one could implement it that way. It's also featuring a resource-list (generalized), so
it could come in handy.
