It's all in the ACPI specs.

No. I added some (platform specific) code to the Intel ACPICA sources
which can read the ACPI tables from memory without the need of a new
driver. OS/2 already has all what's required.

At present only the IASL tools is ported (from the compiler
subdirectory), but I will do the same for the other tools in the
\source\tools directory as well - especially the executer!

First I will clean up my current changes/additions to the common and
IAL stuff into a diff-ball so that others can play with it as well. A
64bit capable C compiler is required, I use the same as the one in the
IBM build system (VisualAge C/C++ v3.6.5fp2+). Mozilla uses this one as
well.

May be creating a CVS tree from the acpica-win-20021118.zip (\source
subdirectory only)
sources, then applying the upcoming diff-ball and creating a CVS
version from this ?

I did, you should have gotten a mail through the list already. This
time is the last one I will CC you, reply through list only, please.

Ciao,

PS: the attached DSL is from my Dell P4 notebook. Very interesting
stuff (devices, configuration, irq routing, events) !
