Hi. I just bought an Asus G1, installed Ubuntu 7.04 and noticed that, aftre X starts, I can't switch to an external monitor. I tried acpi4asus (0.40) but nothing happened. I can see the event if I kill acpid and also tried the explanations I found on the README. The strange thing is that I can't find anyone with the same issue. Has anyone have the same problem? This is really pestering me. I want to discover if this can be a nvidia driver problem perhaps.
