This is strange. A better place to ask this is probably the linux acpi mailing list. But I still think your problem is related to a "broken" DSDT.On acpi.sf.net are custom DSDTs with fixed BAT-state functions for M6827NEUH and M6827NEUP. Do you own such a model?
