Hey, I tried it, and it seems to works, but :
 - The new driver is asus-laptop, not asus_acpi =)
 - Don't use "asus_acpi/input0", let input choose
 - Maybe you should do something more like sony-laptop, with correspondance 
table and a for()
 - Post that to the officiel acpi ml to get more review ;)
