I am new enough to not even qualify as an Active4D developer yet (although I have extensive 4D experience). I too found the technical documentation more than a little daunting when I was looking for a how-to to get me started. It is good to be able to get something simple to work and then to build on it as the concepts become clearer. I was stopped by the message 'Unable to publish database' and 'Number of licenses exceeded'. I thought one could develop with 4D for a limited time (one hour?) and then have to restart to do more.
