If WebStar and 4D are running on different machines, you must make sure in your Active4D pages to use a full URL in all image references and links. A relative reference will not come back through WebStar, but will go directly to 4D, which is not what you want.

As an aside, I am curious why you are running WebStar 4.5 -- a Classic app -- on Mac OS X. You would do yourself a great favor by upgrading to WebStar 5, as it runs native no Mac OS X and the Rewrite rules are much more powerful than Welcome.
Indeed. But almost all of my sites are served up via Lasso, and there is no W*V to 4D connector for Lasso. Rather than upgrading, I'm pondering getting another Mac and a new WebSTAR licence so I can do the change over site-by-site.
