Configuration : Xserve 2 x 1.33 Ghz, 2Mb main memory, xRaid 2Tb Mirror fiber channel MacOS X 10.2.6 server with 4D Server 2003.1 installed on it
Xserve 2 x 1.33 Ghz cluster node, 1MB main memory, MacOS X server 10.2.6, 4D Client 2003.1 with gigabit ethernet connection to 4D server. Active 4D 3.0 and 4D Client configured as Web Server. Problem : After having transfered our application to the production configuration made of 1 x 4D server and 1 x 4D client as a Web Server, we have been experimenting tremendous performance of our Web Portal designed with Active 4D and 4D 2003 up to the point a session expires. At that point, no new session can be opened, the Active 4D session manager does not respond any longer if started when the session expires. The run time explorer on the 4D Client shows the web process intiated by a new connection as executing (as well as Active 4D session manager if it was started), 4D client is extremely slowly responding, and attempts to terminate the Web process abnormally terminate 4D Client. Any ideas. -- Robert Ernens [EMAIL PROTECTED] +33.6.11.78.44.68
