It will never be released publicly. It contains a huge number of new features which I don't want to take the time to document -- I would rather spend the time on v4 right now.
I am reserving 3.01 only for those who are having hanging/crashing problems which might be solved by this version and request it for that purpose. The only change documentation pertains to minor changes in the shell.
Add me to the hanging/crashing list. I'd let to try 3.01 as well.
