We have had 3 instances of Active 4D licences expiring in the last week. Two were caused by faulty installation sequence, and the third is still unresolved - possibly caused by me corrupting the file in the transit from the email I received from Aparajita through to installation on the server.
The problem is made worse by the generosity of Aparajita allowing us to run with a "faulty" licence - with 4D server restarts postponing the "crisis" until we forget what we didn't do 3 weeks ago. We have some 4d code that uses "A4D Get licence info" to display the licence status, but it doesn't seem to get the right answers, and not easy to access when we only have remote control of the server.
